What It Is...an Angelina Film and Opals Covered Purse

My revamped purse is done.Such a shame the camera isn't capturing how shimmery and luscious the Angelina Film on the purse is to look at :o).I added the sewn on top and bottom edges since my last post and some Kaiser stick on rhinestones.I painted the wood at the sides, top and bottom of the purse with Golden Micaceous Iron Oxide.I then brushed on gold Schmincke and sprayed it with a fixative before gluing on the Angelina Film parts

This is the view from top side
Grant reckons he would get a good price for it on Ebay LOL
hugs
Annette In Oz....off to clean my gross oven...I'd rather Angelina Film it !

I found you via Dale's blog. Your altered purse is amazing and so beautiful. I would never have thought of using those techniques but it has worked really well. You must be thrilled with the result, and thankyou for sharing the method and products used, with us.

This is such a lovely work of art. How sturdy is this Angelina Film stuff? Looking at all your work is making me want to play with some too. :)

Very beautiful, Annette.

Will the film and all the good stuff, stand up to being handled?

Wow Annette... that is a wonderful piece of art. I love the look of it, but have no idea of how to go about it.. being in rural Canada, I can't always get the same stuff you can... but I'm wondering what I can alter next...LOL

Hi, I found your blog through Carrie's.

I love your purse, the colours are just gorgeous. I have some Angelina film and wasn't sure what to do with it but your work has inspired me to get it out and play. Thank you. :-)

Annette - As always, you've created something stunning! Thank you for sharing - and I happen to agree with Grant, tho it was really sweet of you to give it away, also. She is one lucky gal! (Assuming, of course, that you gave it to a gal pal...and not your 6'7", 375 pound, cross-dressing uncle! lol)

Thank you for always inspiring me with your ingenuity, talent, and class. You rock!

xx

Oh - and great post on comments. I, too, really enjoy Jessica's log - and her work. She is another talented lady!

Annette, I have no idea how you manage to create such beautiful art. Every time I look at your purse I am just amazed.
I do hope you no longer work. That job is really hard on anyone over 20 years old. With your talent you should live to a really old age, like me.
Take care and thanks for your note.

Hi Annette, I found your blog via Dale's, wow... just fantastic work you've done on the purse. Where did you find such a purse in the first place? It looks very interesing..

I lived in Darwin nearly 30 years ago and yes, felt very isolated. Often thought we might as well have been an overseas country..

hugs
Another Annette.
