What's On Your Workbench Wednesday 213 (WOYWW)-A Big Mess LOL

I've finally got time to play in What'on Your Workbench Wednesday (WOYWW) again after me having a visit to see my Mum In Queensland and then having my daughter Carlia and her boyfriend Cory visit me for a week. If you want to join in WOYWW and share what is on your desk go here to Julia's blog.  As you can see my desk is covered in a whole lot of stuff LOL. It's mainly covered by my hand made jewellery which I am cleaning, polishing and fixing so I can post it all to another friend who shall take photos of all the items for me

Stuff at the left is cleaned and polished items and stuff to right still needs cleaning

 There are cuffs

Necklaces and rings

Quirky steam punk bezel bracelets

and even two recently made cards

Both cards were made for my weekly Tuesday share of an old tip or technique and the how to for both is below this post. So why would I want to post all my jewellery off for it to be photographed you may ask? Well you shall have to wait till next week and I shall tell you !!.
I had some cortisone injections to my sore hip and shoulder three weeks ago and had hoped it would help with my discomfort (esp at night) but the effects started to wear off after a week aaarrrgg. It just means I can't sit or do ANY activity for very long although I get things done in segments of time so I do get get SOMETHING done in the end. It all will resolve itself in the end on its own but when?.  I may have to get another lot of injections done again after I see specialist again on the 30th July (how dare he take the month of June off LOL) to help it along but for now I am a blonde, turning grey who is greatly sleep deprived so watch out World!!
Off to see other peoples desks
hugs

Know what you mean about sleep deprivation with hip pain. Must say I keep mine at bay with tablets and a bed recommended by my osteopath. Pity he lives in the UK and you in Oz as he is wonderful (if expensive).
Can't wait to see your post about your fantastically fabulous jewellery. Am saving up in case you are selling it.
Lovely cards, lovely desk - take care and hope the time runs by to your appointment.
Hugs, Neet 13 xx

Hi Annette, firstly, so sorry to read that the injections haven't done the trick ... I had one in my shoulder and the effect was quick and seemingly permanent as I did not have to have the second one I was threatened with! Hope you get some relief soon before the World suffers :) Love your jewellery and your cards are gorgeous. Hope you've had a good WOYWW, Elizabeth x #72

You could always send your jewellery to me. I'll even do the cleaning myself. Of course you'll never get it back, but it will save you the cleaning! It's all so beautiful.

Happy WOYWW.

I absolutely love your tipnique tuesday. The slider is very fun! And jour jewelry is gorgeous. Looking forward to the big reveal next week! So sorry to hear the cortisone is working like it should. That sounds less than fun. Ugh. Hopefully you will find some relief soon.

Hiya Annette, hope the pain lets you get some respite soon, not fun trying to do things without being able to sit comfortably. :( Love your bracelet/cuffs, they are sooo cool! Your cards are a treat too... those blue butterflies just give them a spark of colour that isn't expected. Annette #6

Oh your jewelry is so cool! I love it. And thanks for the card tutorials earlier this week. I'm still waiting to try to make several. I'm in the middle of injections too. This is starting my second year, 4th round. Hang in there girl. Try Melatonin for sleep. It helps. I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope you feel better soon! Hugs, Rasz #127

You make really beautiful things. Your jewelry, your cards, you are very talented. I also love your website. I've never tried steampunk style Art, but really love it. Maybe one day, if I add any more stuff to the house I think my hubby will will have a small stroke. The stuff I have has already taken over.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and taking time to leave a comment. Looking forward to WOYWW to see what else you have to share. BTW, I LOVE that slider card. I need to give that one a try. Though I'm sure you make it look a bit easier than it is. Have a great wknd.

Poor you. Try Sominex for sleep. Injections have not worked for me. I do hope you get something that helps.

Thanks for stopping in at my blog, I love the steampunk jewelry, so interesting, would love to see closer photos of it. Sorry about your hip, I had knee troubles (osteoarthritis) and was helped greatly with injections of hyalgon (not sure if it's spelled correctly). Oh, and I love that blog header!
