Hi all
I am having pain issues that are not settling. What I used to do in an hour with arts and crafts is now taking me a week/weeks. So I think I shall just have to stop being creative at all for now and work on my health...it seems doctors, physios and hydrotherapy are my new friends for the moment. As such I wont be sharing a Tuesday tip, do any paper arts or make any new jewellery for now but hope to start arting and crafting back up again once I stabilize.
hugs

So sorry about your pain issues Annette. Take time to look after yourself, OK?
Hugs Lucy
Hope you get well soon dear. Take good care and see you soon! ♥♥♥
I am sorry Annette. I hope you get it sorted. I can sympathize with you as I am in constant pain from Fibromyalgia and severe arthritis. To make things worse I have been in dreadful pain after my visit to the dentist. I take longer also to do anything but I find crafting helps.
So sorry to hear that! I hope that you will feel better very soon, but in the meantime, rest and take it easy! Blogland will still be here when you return! x
Take good care of yourself Annette! I sure hope that someone/thing gives your relief soon!
Please take good care of yourself. I'll be thinking of you
Awww Annette, not funny! So sorry to hear it's got this bad. But you're right to focus on getting the bod in line, whatever it takes. Hugs, much love and reiki heading your way.
Hi Annette, sorry that you are in so much pain.
Your body is telling you to relax, so 'go with the flow', OK?
In time, you will feel your body healing & you will be able to return to arting & jewellery making.
Much Love, Lucy
Thanks everyone. I'm a small framed person and the heavy work I had done for the last 20 years as a nurse in high care aged care has done allot of damage that I am now paying for at the age of 50 with several joints worn out, calcific tendinitis to my right shoulder and hip, both knee caps worn out plus they have osteo arthritis and several worn discs in my back that cause pain periodically. Its a new thing for me this chronic pain stuff but I hope the intensive physio sessions for the next two months helps!I'm a bit like a bird with a broken wing when I can't create! Maragret I hope all your pain settles too :) xxx
Oh Annette, what a crappy thing to have happen just when you've finally been able to give nursing the flick!! Hopefully the team will have you back in tip top condition, full of ideas for your new creations and raring to go! In the meantime, don't overdo things and be kind to yourself! After all these years of caring for others, it's now time for others to care for you! xx
So sorry :-) Sad that you cant create, but understand why you need to rest up. Hope the hydro etc can do the trick for you. hugs xxx
So sorry to hear this Annette....I do know that sometimes we just to have give in to what our bodies, mind, or spirit needs and respect the message they are sending. Me? My body usually needs to hit me over the heard. Hope that's not you too. But at any rate, my thoughts and prayers are with you....good luck.
Oh Annette, I'm sorry. I kept looking for you on WOYWW, as I felt kind of connected with us liking a lot of the same things! Then I saw somebody who followed your blog and here I am! This comment comes with sincere wishes for a return to a pain-free time. I have a tiny frame too, which was not helped by my becoming anorexic in my teens. Now I have Osteopaenia and a very painful spine sometimes: I do sympathise. Take care of yourself, Annette! Miss you! Julie Ann xx
Annette, I'm so sorry to hear that your pain has become this bad! I do hope you are able to get the right treatment as well as appropriate pain relief and that eventually you can see some light at the end of the tunnel. Your lovely creations are always inspiring! We'll miss you!
