WOYWW or WHAT's ON YOUR WORKBENCH WEDNESDAY!!!

Wow its a whole six months plus since I have poked my head into Julia's blog at The Stamping Ground here for Whats On Your Workbench Wednesday. Here I am I have moved from the Northern Territory to Far North Queensland in the mean time. We are settled now in a gorgeous part of Oz and I now have TWO workbenches to share. So here is what is on my workbench this Wednesday. First is the paper arts area...I'm learning to paint!

The card at the right of the sunset photo on my desk is this one made from embossing enamels, stamps and fantasy/angelina film

To my left is my first ever acrylic landscape painting on my easel...the photo I used as a reference is above the painting and the progress shots to it being painted are in a post below here

On my right is the completed Kaiser Lazy Susan thingo....I think I'll use it as a paint holder

I now also have a bench in the three bay garage for metal working. I'm REALLY enjoying being creative again after all these months

I have some new jewellery in my shop including two puffy steampunk hearts if any of you are interested or share my link if you could. Off to see others work benches!
hugs

Lovely to have you back on WOYWW although I knew you were back crafting as I visited you a week or so ago and left a comment.
Annette, you are so talented - I am already a big fan of your metal work etc but now you have added painting. And what a fantastic piece of work - nobody would ever know it was your first. Better than I could ever do.
Hugs and thanks for visiting me earlier - Neet 14 xx

Welcome back. I love how you've decorated the Lazy Susan. You should definitely have a go at the Card in a Box. It's much easier (if a little time consuming) than it looks. They've gone down well with everyone who's received one.

What a wonderful post, Annette - so full of colour and interest. Your mixed media panel card absolutely glows - I think I'm in luuuurve!! You are a wonderful artist. I hope your move went smoothly and you are enjoying being in your new place. We moved in Sept. after 6 months of building works on the new house, and we are now very happily settled and I have a splendid purpose built (to my own design) studio which is so much fun to play in.

Your Lazy Susan storage unit is stunning. What fabulous papers, and all those little drawers... so beautiful.

Isn't it wonderful having so much space? A dedicated worskhop for your metalwork too!

Thanks for your visit and your lovely comment. Glad to see you back on WOYWW. My glue gun is made by Bosch who do also make drills! After several attempts to get a decent cheap glue gun I gave up in total despair and decided that you get what you pay for. The Bosch was soooo worth the money! It's a great piece of kit. I'm really enjoying the teabag art but am a bit stuck at the moment, being sans-sewing machine.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Annette, lovely to see you again, just been looking at some more of your pieces- amazing! The Ink Palettes are for alcohol inks, you put a few drops in, and then they dry. You can then use it like a paint palette, with a blender pen filled with Alcohol blending solution. I saw Tim demo it in this video- looked like a great idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIC--OSnQD8
Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #44 xx
