Whats On Your Workbench Wednesday (WOYWW)

I'm in the middle of doing an on line workshop at Artful Gatherings 2013 and nearly forgot it was Wednesday...the day to share what is on my work bench and to see what is on others work benches from arty folk all over the World. If you would like to know more about WOYWW or join in go to Julia's blog here So here is my VERY messy desk today...

At lower left and back there is some mail that has arrived in the form of Stephanie Rubiano's amazing art. I bought an ipad cover called "I Rock" . Click on her name to go and have a look at her shop!!

As I was Stephanie's first international buyer she kindly sent me some cards, a magnet and some stickers with more of her gorgeous art on them all!!

The little note she sent me

Under the Uni Pin drawing pens and pencils is a drawing I did a few days ago from a magazine image

On an easel to my right is the drawing I did a few weeks back but I have now corrected the nose and mouth

On my right of the desk I'm making another etched copper puffy steam punk heart. My jewellers saw is at the left and I'm about to cut down a bit of brass tubing to make a spacer to add a cog under the propeller so the cog and propeller are able to spin freely from each other

Behind my desk is the spare bed and its covered in ALL my embellishments. It saves me having to look thru everything each time to find what I want to use when I'm in steam punk mode. Usually all of this is neatly stacked away in a cupboard at my right :o).

and lastly on my chair is Scoot our cat!

I know I said I would share why my jewellery was sent away for photos last week, this week but it's still not ready so that will have to wait. HHHMMMmm looking at all the chaos on my desk me thinks I had better tidy up! Off to look at others desks first though
hugs

Well if it is chaos (and I don't see that!), you seem to have a grip on it, so hmm, I wouldn't tidy!! The ipad cover is amazing, so dimensional! I'm keen to ee the jewellery that's been absent..you won't forget will you ..meanwhile, hope no-one needs to use the spare bed!

Right back to you ;-) Thanks for the lovely comment!

I see some awesome boxes on those pics and one white treasure...don't know what I prefer more to play with LOL.

On your question - I'm from Bulgaria and we write in CYRILLIC alphabet which is not very common :-)

your jewellery peices are so beautiful and you have a skilled hand at drawing too! BTW the price of the camera I used is $300 but it goes on sale for $150 USD all the time and Amazon and Newegg have it for $150 everyday. I'm not sure about voltage is OZ but maybe you can but it from a us supplier and save $$, it's a thought! Happy WOYWW! Lindsay #116

What a lovely lots of gifts you had in your parcel. i sometimes feel a bit isolated here - we are in a relatively small village in Spain - but we are nowhere as rote as you. Scoot is beautiful and must be better behaved than Arwen. I could never leave all my embellishments spread out like that, even temporarily. I wish I could! Thank for visiting earlier. Kate x #113

Hi Annette,

So glad to see your desk this week filled with crafty arty goodness. Gosh that bed does look inviting with all those containers to go poking through. Love the shot of kitty, cats are so beautiful when they are sleeping.

Hi Annette, thanks for the lovely comments. Re the wooden blocks; They came from a company called OPITEC/Hobbyfix, its a European Educational Materials supplier. I checked the website, they don't seem to ship internationally, but maaybe you have a similar supplier for schools etc over there? failing that, if your hubby is a bit of a handyman with wood, (or you), or you know someone who is, I could send you all the dimensions, if it would help?
Hugs, Shaz

Great busy desk! Your view doesn't look so bad although I guess you don't get so much rain if it's the dry season. Love your i-pad cover! Thanks for your visit, have a great week, Chris119
